Bermuda cruise Oct 14 - recommendations for a cabin w/ bigger balcony

We're booked on the Oct 14th sailing. We’ve had a regular balcony before, but thinking about upgrading this time. Want something with a more private or larger balcony area. Any suggestions for a specific cabin category or even a particular ship location to request? Not looking for a suite, just a better balcony setup for some relaxing private time. Sailing on the Escape. Thx

we did an angled balcony on the escape last year cabin 9732 i think it was way bigger than standard felt pretty private too. good for just hanging out with a drink or whatever 😉. just watch out for the lifeboats on some of the decks below they can block the view down.

we booked a spa balcony on the escape a while back and the balcony was definitely deeper than the normal ones. it was still narrow but we had way more room for two loungers instead of just chairs. felt pretty secluded up there too since its a dedicated area. if you're into the thermal suite access its a good two-for-one. since you mentioned private time, id avoid the very aft balconies on escape. the ones that face directly back look amazing but they're totally stacked on top of each other. zero privacy from above or if your neighbors are out. the angled balconies like marlin mentioned are solid, just try to get one that's not directly beside a bump-out or you might still have a neighbor in view. are you guys looking at any of the 'large balcony' categories specifically? we almost did one of those but the price jump was steep. curious if anyone thinks they're worth it over an angled one.
