Best place to relax on board

I've never been on Oasis of the Seas and it looks like it's a much different layout than some of the other ships I've been on. What would you say is the best place for a bit of solitude in the midst of the crowd?

It’s been a few years since I did an Oasis Class ship (pre covid) but I love them. Despite the size I never felt too crowded but I’m also not a fan of the pool deck or boardwalk areas on sea days. In port they used to have a deck you could go to just below the solarium. You had to walk to the end of the cabin hall so it wasn’t usually too crowded, especially early on when few knew about it. Central park is nice most of the time but especially at night. Schooner bar was usually a bit quiet during the day. Viking crown is also usually fairly quiet during the day. Aqua theater daytime can be a chill spot. They sometimes have movies or sports playing on the screens. There’s also some space around/ behind the aqua theater where I think they had shuffle board, but I don't remember if there were chairs. Unfortunately, one of the go to quite spots on RC ships was somewhat taken away on Oasis Class - the lower deck jogging track doesn’t have lots of lounger space anymore but I think you can still find a few chairs on the aft area. Ironically the card room used to be a quiet spot but with the resurgence of games like mahjong it’s often more busy than when I first started cruising. Honestly, I always recommend spending your first hours on board exploring the ship. Walk deck by deck and get some good ideas on little spots you may want to revisit later.
I was looking at the Deck Layout and saw there is a "Card Room" on deck 12. I then searched and it seems that room is set aside for playing board games and card games. I'm planning on checking it out sometime.

central park late at night is magic for that. all the crowds have gone to bed, the string lights are on, and youll see maybe one other couple strolling. perfect for some...quiet conversation, if you catch my drift.

the card room can be ok but sometimes gets noisy with groups honestly if you want real quiet try the central park benches early in the morning like before 8am no one is around and its just the plants and the birds they have out there its a vibe or the very front of the ship on the solarium deck there are these tucked away loungers behind the glass not many people find them bring a book and just zone out

oh central park at night for sure it’s our favorite spot we just got off oasis last month actually and we’d sneak down there after midnight the bars are closed so its just the ambience and the crickets they pipe in lol its so surreal feels like youre not even on a ship but honestly for pure quiet you gotta go during the day too not just early morning like try right when everyone is at lunch we found a little nook near the trellis bar on the rising tide side there are these benches half hidden by the greenery we had some...very nice private moments there just watching people walk by without them seeing us its a thrill word of caution tho the solarium front loungers can get windy af and if the ship is moving you might get sprayed a bit depends on the seas still worth it for the view but maybe not if you want to stay perfectly dry anyone know if they ever close central park for cleaning or something late night like are we gonna get shooed away

oh oasis class is amazing for finding little nooks honestly our go to is deck 14 forward port side past the stateroom doors theres this outdoor hidden deck with loungers its almost always empty cause its kinda a trek but so worth it for some real quiet and you get killer views off the side of the ship perfect spot to just unwind and not be bothered by anyone

My stateroom is on deck 14 though I don't remember if I'm port or starboard, so it seems like I should be close to that deck. I'll have to see if I can find it the first day after I get settled in.

We found the best spots are the ones nobody mentions on the deck plans. That hidden deck on 14 is solid, but it can get windy. If you're after real solitude, try the very aft on deck 5, outside the jogging track. There's a little sliver of a deck with maybe two loungers. You're right over the wake, completely alone. It's our go-to for when we want to... disconnect from everything for a while. Have you ever tried that spot?

I've never been on this ship and don't think I have been on others of the same class. It sounds like that spot would give good views of where the ship has been.
