Best Way to Break the Ice on the Ship

Ok I get asked this multiple times a day, every day so I thought I'd share our secret to breaking the ice if you want to know if another person/couple is in the lifestyle. You meet a really cool couple at the bar and end up hanging out at the pool. You know you want to bang them but how do you know they are really down without being weird or awkward ? Just say, "Hey have you heard about CruiseHuddle - its a platform to meet people on cruises". Believe it or not; that question is probably the best ice breaker there is because even if the person is shy but still interested they'll quickly join and find you online. The question makes it easy to gauge the other persons vibe and will obviouslly lead to other questions or comments which might make it easier to continue the discovery!! And not self serving or a plug but our merchandise starts the conversation without even having to ask the question!! Wear it and display it with pride and it will pay off in spades!! Gonna give it a try ? What's your ice breaker ?

thats a pretty solid strategy. we've had good luck just being open at themed events. like a wine tasting, you're already sharing something and the vibe is relaxed. can lean over and just say 'we love meeting new people on cruises, you guys seem cool.' leaves it open ended without any pressure. the merch is a clever idea, but we'd probably save it for sail-away. easier to spot people that way, right?

yeah, gonna give this a try this week. we usually look for other people wearing more playful jewelry or accessories by the pool, like the anklet thing. it's a quieter signal but works.

I think the merch or accessories can be a great low-key signal, but sometimes the assumption is wrong. I complimented a woman's "playful" necklace once and she just beamed and said her grandkid made it. Cue the internal cringe. It's a gamble. I like the CruiseHuddle line though—it’s neutral enough. My move is usually just suggesting a group drink later at a specific bar. "We're hitting the martini bar around ten if you want to join us." Gives them an easy out if they're not feeling it.
