so my partner and me are going on carnival jubilee in january and i keep seeing stuff about needing to book the shows before you get on the ship which i thought was weird is that true or is it like the comedy club where you just line up we want to see that center stage production thing whatever its called but we also have a big group and wanna maybe do stuff sponteaniously if that makes sense do you have to book every single show like even the little ones in the lounges or is it just the main theater and how soon can you do it like can you do it the second you finish online checkin or do you gotta wait till you get to your cabin and use the stupid expensive wifi just trying to figure out the system so we dont miss out cause our friends are counting on us to figure this part out lol seems complicated

Based on what I'm seeing when searching, it looks like shows are first-come first-serve and there is no reservation system. I did see recommendations of arriving up to an hour early for certain shows.

okay so we just got off jubilee and it was a mess figuring this out lol the main theater shows like the center stage ones you DO have to book and they open up exactly at midnight eastern time two weeks before your cruise you gotta be on the carnival site ready to go cause they go fast like stupid fast i missed the first one trying to do it in the morning the little lounge shows like the comedians or the band in the atrium you dont book you just show up but get there early like 30 mins if you want a decent seat especially with a big group the seating is kinda awkward in some of those spots one thing nobody mentions is if you dont book the main show you can try standby line they let people in like 10 mins before it starts but ive seen it where they dont let anyone in at all so its a gamble and also if you book and your plans change just cancel it on the app so someone else can grab it dont be that person holding spots you wont use the wifi on the ship is trash for trying to do this anyway
