Disney Treasure Main Dining - Can we request our own table for two?

So, this is our first cruise ever, and we're pretty excited but also a little nervous about the whole dining situation. We booked on the Disney Treasure for March 2027, and I've been diving into all the details. We're a couple in our late 20s/early 30s, and while we love meeting new people, the idea of being sat with strangers for dinner every night feels a bit... intense? I've read that Disney does rotational dining with assigned tables. My question is pretty straightforward: can you actually request a private table for two, or is it all up to the maître d' once you're on board? I've seen conflicting info online. Some people say Disney is really accommodating, especially if you mention it's a special occasion (though for us, it's just wanting a bit of privacy). Others say that because of the theater-style seating in some of the restaurants, true "two-tops" are very limited and they often seat smaller parties together anyway. I'm not sure if we should try calling ahead now, or if we just need to be prepared to head straight to the dining location when we board to plead our case. We're not anti-social by any means, and we'd be happy to chat with neighbors at the next table, but sharing a table for six or eight feels like a lot of pressure for multiple nights. What if we have nothing in common? What if we just want to have our own conversation after a long day in port? I guess I'm also wondering what the vibe is like. Since it's Disney, are most tables big family groups, or are there other couples like us? Any tips on how to phrase the request without sounding rude would be appreciated too. We don't want to come off as snobby, we just value that couple time, especially on vacation. Has anyone had success getting a table for two on the Treasure or the other newer Disney ships? Did you have to ask every single night, or did they note it on your file for the whole cruise? Thanks for any insight you can offer!

Hey. I would email them a head of time making your request. You can tell them it’s your anniversary or you are celebrating something else. Once you get to the port you should be able to see your table number on the DCL app. Once you board one of the dining rooms will be open for lunch. You can check your table number. If the request was not granted you can make the request again. The dining room team should be in one of the lounges to help with dining request. Once you are assigned the table you will have that table for the whole cruise. Enjoy the cruise.
Yes, you can request it. Did it on the Wish. Emailed special services before sailing. Got a 2-top, but it was literally two inches from the next couple. Felt like a four-top split down the middle. Might want to ask for a "standalone" two-top if they have any.
Yes you can request Your own Table before the Cruise. Have done that numerous times without a Problem till our last Cruise, which was on the Treasure (October, 2025). We were set with another Family the 1st night and really didn't Click so I went to our Head Waiter after and explained We had requested our own Table before the Cruise to Which he apologized and We were moved to our own table for the rest of the Cruise. Said that to reassure you to request before, But if don't get know you can fix after Board if need to. Have a Magical Cruise😉 It's a Beautiful Ship...Haunted Mansion Parlor was a Big Hit with Us, But remember is a Smaller Venue (Starts thinning out after 1st couple days though)👍🏻👍🏻 Any other Questions or want to see more pics just message.
