Is smoking allowed on Prima's private island?

We're on the Prima sailing in December and I've been trying to plan our day at Great Stirrup Cay. I know Norwegian's private island has the beaches and the bars, but I'm a smoker and my husband isn't. I'm trying to figure out if I need to plan for a long trek back to the ship or if there are designated spots. I've seen conflicting info online. Some old posts mention a specific smoking area near one of the bars, but others say it's completely non-smoking like the beaches. Does anyone who's been there recently know the real deal? If there is a spot, is it just a stand-alone ashtray or an actual shaded area? I don't want to spend half the day hiking back and forth if I don't have to, but I also want to be respectful of the rules and other guests. Any firsthand experience would be a big help for planning our day.

was there earlier this year. there's one specific smoking spot by the bacardi bar, its shaded but just a few standing tables with ashtrays. gets pretty crowded, be prepared to wait.
Crest-grove's spot on. If it's crowded, just walk the paved path away from the main beach - there's another smaller bar further down, usually has a couple ashtrays outside it. Less of a wait.
