read that review and honestly the size of the thing sounds crazy haha we’re on conquest next year which is like the opposite end of the scale but star looks wild especially the record breaking slide complex did they have to wait in line forever for those slides or was it not too bad during a sea day

The slides had a bit of a wait but they weren't terrible, even on busy days. There's enough up there to go around.

We sailed Harmony, which is huge, and honestly some of those record-breaking features create bottlenecks. The water slides might be fine, but the "biggest" pool deck often meant it was just the most crowded. Did the review mention how the ship's layout handled those crowds, especially getting to the dining rooms? Sometimes the wow factor isn't worth the foot traffic.

read the review too. good pics. that infinity pool at sunset looks like a vibe. size def a factor tho. on a big ship like that, the "hidden" spots are key. found a stairwell landing on our last cruise that was empty most afternoons. perfect for a little... detour. star's got like 20 decks, prob has similar spots if you explore. the layout thing is real. all those fancy venues can make getting from point a to b a pain, esp before dinner. main tip: use the stairs midship during peak times. elevators are a lost cause.
