I was luckily with a companion on this cruise and the first impression was great! It’s always a hustle and bustle trying to get on, muster, and wait for rooms. However the energy was good. I noticed a lot of first time cruisers, I guess no one told them that 3-days are known for being booze cruises.

Have to call out, there is a gentleman who works on this ship who is bi and DTF! Feel free to message me if you are looking for a single male on the Glory and I would love to help you connect with him.

For the most part the energy was good but typical of a 3 day cruise it could get very rowdy at times. Lots of young first time cruisers making the club and late evening events very fun and energetic. Also, not exactly exclusive to this cruise, but parents really need to learn how to control their kids. I’ve got some myself and I’m all for the fun but playing tag in the cabin hallways at 2am is not the way.

The ship was in expected condition, not perfect but not a mess. I was disappointed about the scheduling on ship though. Celebration key, elegant night, and the glow party were all on the same day. This could have been spread out more even with only 3 days to work with. Pearl Cove on Celebration Key was fantastic! Get the open bar if you are a drinker, the pour them heavy and keep them coming. Now the bad part… we had lunch at the BBQ place on Celebration Key… I had the pulled pork sandwich and regret it. The pork must have been slightly uncooked as later on the ship once the liquor started wearing off, the sick came. I was porcelain king for the rest of the day and some of the next with food poisoning and one of the reasons this review dropped.

I would cruise again but I would be very careful about what I eat going forward. Being sick on a cruise ship is a horrible experience but the overall vibe and meeting a worker who was pineapple friendly was unexpected and exciting.

Pros

The crew, the vibe, the drinks.

Cons

Food poisoning!

Tips

Stay away from pork.
